Tessa's Birthday, Yard Sale & Cookout

Saturday after the yard sale Josh & I drove to Atlanta and had a great dinner, went shopping, and then went to Tessa's 30th Surprise Birthday Party. It was great to celebrate with such a great friend and meet some of her friends. Here is a pic of the birthday girl with her cousin, Amber. Happy 30th Birthday Tessa, we love you! We woke up early Saturday morning and had a yard sale with our neighbors. Luckily the rain held off and we were all able to off load some "stuff" and make some money. We ended up making $210 (I ended up spending a lot of it in Atlanta)! Here is a pic of Marley with a "Make Offer" sticker on her forehead.
Friday night we invited a couple (Josh & Honna Rogers, they are friends of Sean) and our neighbors (the Graham's, the Snow's, & the Davis's) over for burgers. It was really nice to meet the Roger's and get together with the best neighbors!! Here is Lisa reading to all of our boys.

Both Sides

Most blogs show kids smiling having fun and playing and it makes all of you without kids want them (hypothetically speaking). Well here is a video that will change your mind. :)

Friday Night in Sweetwater

Friday night we went to Josh's sister's house for a cookout & some swimming. We had a lot of fun & enjoyed getting to see Josh's family. Also while we were in LC we were able to visit with my mom's friend Hoa. To see all of our pics, click on the August album.

Pool Time Fun

Last night Amy, Connor & Macy came over to play with us and have dinner. It was really nice to get see them and catch up. Here are the boys playing in the pool and the next pic is of Ty sleeping.

Bible Study Cookout

Last Night the girls from my Bible Study got together for a cookout at the Gregory's house. It was so much fun and really nice to meet the families of all the awesome women in my Bible Study. And We're Home

Our last day we tried to play in the ocean & pool all day and then we had dinner with the locals. It was fun! The owner even played a foosball match with Ty! I also got a relaxing pedicure.

Yesterday I tried to talk Josh into staying until after lunch, but he thought it would be better to leave in morning, so we got back around 4 pm. What a great trip! Oh I added a few more pics to the album.

Last Full Day of Vacation :(

What a great day yesterday! Josh took us to Downtown Charleston, where we looked at the beautiful historic homes on Battery Drive and also did some fun shopping on Upper King Street. Afterwards we ate lunch at South End Brewery, where we took this pic. About 12 years ago Josh and I took a picture of ourselves at this same location, way before we were married and had kids. So we thought we would take the same pic, 12 years later. Boy have we been blessed over those 12 years!
For lunch we had awesome crab cakes and ahi tuna. Here Marley is sitting on Josh's lap instead of her highchair...funny how she does that. The next one is of Josh carrying both kids, better him than me. :) I have adde more pics to our album.















The other night Josh fixed a Low Country Boil and it was delicious!
We have had a great time at the beach and we (mainly me) are a little sad about going back home. Luckily we have Disney World to look forward to in September!
