Neighbors and Friends!

It's football time in Tennessee!!

Our good friends the Grau's are moving to Nashville and we will miss them. Here is Ty kissing Anna Claire good bye...so sweet!

FRIDAY

After a fun week of going to Nashville to see Ray LaMontagne & David Gray in concert, the CDM and then hanging out the rest of the week. We had the Beard's over this morning which was a lot of fun and then went to the pool before a Seki Sui dinner. Here is Ty going in the pool! The Beard's lounging on the pool! Kids jumping in! Disney 2010...GREAT vacation!!

Last Saturday morning we left for Disney and just got back this evening. I had an absolutely great time with my family! It was so much fun to stay up late with the kids and do so much fun stuff. We even had rest days or water park days. Ty did great and loved it all especically riding all the fun rides with his dad. Marley did great even at 12:30 at night! She did get tired toward the end and started to have an occasional break down. :) Anyway I think we all had a "magical" time!!

Muscle Shoals

Monday after naps we loaded up to go to Muscle Shoals, AL (3 hrs from here) for Josh's work. The Beard's went with us and the kids got to ride with them, fun for them and for us. :) They like riding in the Odyssey so much that Ty asked me to put my mirror/visor down on the way back so he could pretend that he was watching a tornado on tv in our car.

Anyway we spent two nights and had a great time with the Beard's, while poor Josh was at work. We had 35 cent wings and ice cream and playgrounds and water fountains, and the list goes on. Here are the girls taking a break for a photo...cheese!!!

Baseball, Bouncing & Books!

Ty had a really rough patch and we asked him if he were to be good what would he like to do. He said he wanted to go to the baseball field with his friends and play baseball and then come back to our house for a cookout. Well that is exactly what we did and it was a lot of fun! Thanks so much for all of our friends coming and playing and eating with us!!

Friday morning we went to Partyville (jumpy place) to let the kids play. We met Amy, Connor, Macy, Heather & Annalee.

We absolutely love our library! To celebrate the end of the summer reading program, they had a pool party...fun! Here is Ty with Lisa, Hudson & Finley.

Fun 24 hrs!

After work on Friday we drove to Lenoir City and visited with Josh's parents and then on to Aubrey's for a dinner celebration for Mamaw's 85th birthday! It was fun and we were able to see all of Josh's family!

Saturday morning we went to a Lemon Aid stand at the LC Farmer's Market. The money went toward water for people in Africa, good job Sean, Andi, Beckett, Helen & Will!

After that we went to the Knoxville zoo! It was great, but hot! We saw a ll kinds of animals including the elephants.

Then on to Tori's birthday party at the zoo! Tori is the daughter of my good friend Sonja. Sonja and I are friends from college and it was great to be able to celebrate her daughter's 5th birthday with her! Here is the beautiful birthday girl Tori!

After all of this we were all worn out, but back at home for a peaceful Sunday! Thanks to everyone for making this a fun 24 hrs!

New Page

What a rough couple of weeks! Our sweet baby boy has been a terror! We went to Nashville last week with Josh's work and Ty was horrible, I could not wait to get home. Then we came home and the bad behavior continued. I thought I was going to pull my hair out. Anyway after a lot of prayers and reading parenting books, we have had 3 full good days. No hitting and no extrememly bad back talking. Kids can bring us so much love but they also bring us a lot of heart ache. :) Here is a pic of Ty cleaning out our fire pit, we think if we can channel his energy in good ways that it might help!

Another thing that he and Marley love is paintign or any kind of art project. Love their creations!

Ty has also spent A LOT of time catching butterflies. Here is the biggest one yet.

We also went swimming with our friends the Beards and had a delightful dinner at the McGowans. Here is to a good weekend!
