My Baby's 1st Day of "School"

Today Ty had his 1st day of preschool at our church (Presbyterian Day School, PDS). Since Ty usually has a hard time when I leave, we had really been talking up school for days now. Well he did great! I dropped him off and he did not cry, he didn't have any accidents, & his teacher said he did great. Here is a pic of him with his backpack...it seems just like yesterday I was putting him inside the backpack when he was an infant to take his picture.
He told me he had fun and I asked him if he wanted to go again next week and he said how about tomorrow. I told him that he could go back next Wednesday and he said tomorrow. Ha! He doesn't know that we are just paying for one day a week...all that worrying for nothing. :)

While Ty was gone Marley and I went for a jog, visited Laura, painted a little bit, planted flowers and then I ate a nice quiet lunch by myself. Until next week.

I'm on a camera strike

We have done a lot of fun stuff over the last few days, but I have just been too lazy to take pics. On Thursday Josh's parents came & visited with us, then on Friday we had dinner with the Snow's, Saturday Uncle Truckles came to visit & we had a nice dinner at Nino's, and Sunday we just hung around the house. Hope you had a good weekend also!!

Tessa's Birthday, Yard Sale & Cookout

Saturday after the yard sale Josh & I drove to Atlanta and had a great dinner, went shopping, and then went to Tessa's 30th Surprise Birthday Party. It was great to celebrate with such a great friend and meet some of her friends. Here is a pic of the birthday girl with her cousin, Amber. Happy 30th Birthday Tessa, we love you! We woke up early Saturday morning and had a yard sale with our neighbors. Luckily the rain held off and we were all able to off load some "stuff" and make some money. We ended up making $210 (I ended up spending a lot of it in Atlanta)! Here is a pic of Marley with a "Make Offer" sticker on her forehead.
Friday night we invited a couple (Josh & Honna Rogers, they are friends of Sean) and our neighbors (the Graham's, the Snow's, & the Davis's) over for burgers. It was really nice to meet the Roger's and get together with the best neighbors!! Here is Lisa reading to all of our boys.

Friday Night in Sweetwater
