Long Month

Despite having a great dinner with friends on Saturday night, both of our kiddos woke up sick on Sunday morning, then Josh and I got sick Sunday night. We are all better now, but a stomach bug is no fun! The nausea, the cleaning up, the worrying about the kids, the not wanting to eat, etc. Yuck!

This has also been a long month because we have had to move my dear Granny to a nursing home. I love her so much and hate to see her go downhill, but I keep on reminding myself of how blessed I am to have so many sweet memories with her and to love her while we have her. Please pray for her mind, body and spirit.

Sayuri's Visit & Nashville

Last weekend my brother's family came to visit us and we went shopping. Here is his and Tracy's beautiful little daughter Sayuri. I tried to trade one of mine for her, but her parents would not agree.
Even though she looks really sweet and peaceful in this picture, those are really horns coming out of her head and not pigtails...ha! Let's hope her 2 yr molars can explain her needy behaviour.
We also just got back from a couple of days in Nashville..what fun! I bought a new rug at Pottery Barn and the kids some Disney stuff. Just wondering when Josh is goign to cut up my credit card. :)

4 yr & 2 yr Doctor Visits

Today we went in for Ty's 4 yr well visit and Marley's 2 yr well visit. Ty weighed 43 lbs (90%) and is 41 in tall (50%). Marley weighed 24 lbs (25%) and is 34.5 in tall (50 or 75%, I don't remember). Anyway Dr. Darke said everything looked a okay.

Ty also got 3 shots (he did really well) and does not have to have shots again until he is 12! Marley had 2 shots (she did somewhat decent) and does not have to have anymore until she starts school.

After that, we went to Bible Study and home to play in the snow!!

Merry Christmas to the Fam-o-lee

The weary world rejoices, for yonder brings a new a glorious morn!

Here's a pic of the kids opening light sabers. We had a nice and relaxing day yesterday with the kids and all of their prensents. Since it seems like they both got 100 toys a piece you would think they could find other toys to play with, but yesterday they spent most of the day admiring the other one's toy.

Josh and I also celebrated our 10th anniversary..yay!


We went to Josh's Mamaw's Christmas this year and it was nice to see everyone. We haven't been here in at least 5 yrs I think.

Another stop on Christmas eve was at my parent's home and then on to our chuch.

This past Monday & Tuesday we went to Nashville with Josh for work and were able to visit Uncle Truckles, which is always fun!

Ty is 4!

My baby boy is 4! Wowsers! I know I can complain about him a lot, but I love that little guy SO much. Below are some pics of him and the last is my favorite, it shows him laughing on the swing with Lu and Pheebs. I LOVE TY's LAUGH, he gets so into laughing that it makes you want to join in. Yesterday on his real birthday we just hung out, went to Mickey D's and played all day.

Marley is 2!

Yesterday, Dec 18th was Marley's 2nd Birthday. It is hard to believe that she is already 2 years old! She has been such a blessing to my life and I am so thankful to God for her. I love the way she squirms when I hold her, and the way she already tries to tell me what to do, and that she sleeps late in the mornings, and I could go on and on. Christmas Photo, Box Home & Red Shoes

This was actually the 2nd pic we took. I should have stopped there instead of making the kids pose for 50 more terrible pics.
We bought a new tv for $250 and I don't know which we have used more the box or the tv. We got another for a family member and when Ty saw it he said yay a rescue boat for Marley (what he calls his box), he didn't say oh another tv!
I absolutely love these shoes on Marley, if I had a pair I would wear them everyday. Oh wait I do!! :)
