It all started off with us going to Nashville with Josh on Thursday. We ate an all you can eat sushi lunch in "the Gulch" part of Nashville for $9.75/person (our new fave restaurant) and then we took naps, played in the pool, ate at Jonathan's, and then hung out at the manager's reception. Go embassy suites! These are nice 24 vacations for us, just sorry we missed Uncle Truckles this go around.
When we got home on Friday, we discovered that Mr. Sheats (our stone mason) had dropped off his John Deere "bobcat." Ty was VERY excited to say the least and here he is with Hudson. I think Ty is going to have a hard time with it when it has to leave. :(
Friday night, Josh, Ben & Casey took the kids to see a Lookouts game and watch fireworks. It was a lot of fun for all of them, but I think all the kids were VERY tired!
Saturday morning we had a yard sale with neighbors. It was fun to hang out with them, and make a little moola. Here is Laura keeping the kids busy. After the yard sale, Mom and I did a little bit of shopping and then the Beard's came over for dinner. We had a great time and gorged ourselves on their homemade salsa, yummy!
My parents spent the weekend with us and we had a good time visiting with them. In this pic Ty is giving Dad a kiss...can you see his tongue?
We really didn't do much today after church besides take it easy. Here are the kids eating grapes. To see all of our pics click on the May album.
