January Slipping By...

Well January is starting to slip by. It has been a snow filled month for us! Here is a pic of Ty with his snow fort. There is STILL some of it left in our yard and I am ready for it to go. This weekend it is suppose to be almost 50 degrees so we aer grilling out and pretending like it is summer time!

Last weekend Macy & Connor Beard spent the night with us. It was a lot of fun for everyone! It is so funny to watch and listen to them all interacting together. I absolutely love them all!

Oh Marley Mo! Just like any girl, she loves to dress up, pick out her own clothes, and look like a princess. Here she is striking a pose.

The kids did have their 5 & 3 yr old check ups and everything went well. Although Marley had a bad ear infection that we did not even know about.

Christmas & New Years

What a wonderful holiday season! On the 24th we went to church to watch the 2nd graders act out the Navitiy scene, we came home for a good dinner, and then we waited for Santa. The kids were SO into it, it was a blast to watch them. Ty cried when he said good bye to Mr. Elf. :) Christmas morning came, we celebrated the birth of our Saviour Jesus, and then onto Lenoir City to be with family. The roads were horrible, but it was great to see everyone. And thanks to everyone for the nice and thoughtful presents.

We had a beautiful White Christmas, one that I will always remember.

After Christmas, Josh got us tickets to the Avett Bros. concert in Asheville. We ate great food there (Zambra and City Bakery) and the show was awesome. One of the best presents I have ever received!
We really did not do anything for New Years, Josh and I were still recovering from the night before. :) We did go to church that Sunday (here are the kids dressed up, Marley is wearing a dress her Yaay got her for New Years) and had really good waffles there...and of coursed learned a lot also.

Here's to a great 2011!
