Pie Run & Monster Bash

What better way to burn off some of those vacation pounds than to get up the morning after you get back and run a 10k with your family? :) Josh pushed both kids in the double stroller (about 85 lbs.) and I still could not keep up with him. He was nice enough to keep on jogging back to me to make sure I was still moving. Anyway the weather was perfect and the jog was really nice...I could watch the sun coming up as I jogged alongside the brow. Even though it was really hilly, it was one of the most enjoyable ones that I have done. Ty LOVED it when all the young girls would cheer for him and give him five, I wish I had that on video.

And then last night we went to the Creative Discovery Museum to their Monster Bash. They had pumpkin painting, a maze, roasting marshmellows, a fiddler, hot cider, balloon animals, and the list goes on. We all really enjoyed it!

Oh yeah...

To see our pro pics go to www.ryansmithphotography.net
Then go to proofs, then October, then Nichols. Let me warn you, there are a bunch.

And my MB album, to the left, is complete.

Back Home

Here we are sitting at the end of the Murrells Inlet pier after another delicious and fun dinner with the kids. We had a fantastic trip, but we are now glad to be back home.

Jill & Darrin brought kites for the kids to fly and I think this is the 1st time Ty has flown a kite on his own. He really enjoyed it. Also our last day there we walked down to the pier to watch them catch fish and I went to Anthropolgie. :)

Our Krispy Kreme workers...

Thanks to everyone for a wonderful trip and especially to Jess & Bettye for the house. Now back to the real world!

Pro Pics

Yesterday evening we all went to get our "beach pics" made. We all wore white shirts and khaki shorts, and amazingly enough all 14 of us did well. I have posted the pics I took but hopefully we will buy some of the pro ones. :)

Today was a great day. The weather was perfect and we were on the beach or at the pool all day. We flew kites, built sandcastles, jumped waves, used the boogie board, and much more! We finished the day off with dinner at Creek Rats and had great seafood and live music. Josh and the kids loved it. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as much fun!

EARRINGS!!!

Today my baby got earrings, and no this is not a joke like Tessa did earlier. :) It was really sweet, her and her cousin Lillie got them together. It is so hard to believe that a pair of earrings make my baby look so different, but they do. Absolutely so beautiful (not that my baby is, but all of you kids know what I am talking about)!!

Monday at Myrtle

Here are some more pics of our vacation. Also today we went shopping at what use to be the Air Force Base I grew up on. It was really weird to shop there and see restaurants like PF Changs. Anyway we are having a great time! To see more photos click on the album to the left.

We are here!

Josh's parents rented a nice house at Myrtle Beach for us to stay at this week and we are very excited to spend the week with them and Josh's brother, sister and their families.
We got here about 3 pm and have been playing in the pool and at the beach. This should be a fun week. Stay tuned for more pics...I will make an album to the left.

Myrtle Beach

Friday we started our journey to Myrtle Beach and headed to Atlanta to stay with the Masters. They were gracious enough to host us...thanks Tessa for taking me shopping! :) Here is a pic of Marley & Phoebe in the tub! Ty & Lula were so cute playing together this time. They laughed the whole time and it was so much better than breaking up fights.

On Saturday we got up and headed to the beach!

Fun Weekend

One of my favorite things to do is to go to Greenlife with Josh, Ty & Marley. So Friday night we went to the Creative Disc. Museum and then headed to Greenlife. It was great as usual. :) Here are the kids from earlier in the week in matching REI pj's courtesy of Susi Beckett. Then Saturday Josh had a metric bike ride in Seq. Co. so the kids I just hung out until Anthony & Tessa came over. Here is Tessa with the kiddos. Sarah Anne came over and watched the kids while we went to Mandy's 30th birthday party (see the attached video). And we had a blast! Aren't babysitter's the best?! :) To see all of our pics this month, periodically check the Oct Album.

The weirdest thing...

This is really weird, but I just looked at my blog to see if there was a new post. But I am the one that does the posting, so I should know when I put something new up. That's really weird. :)
