Christmas 2007

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Here are some pictures we took over the holidays. This one is of Ty in his Thomas helmet (thanks Jess & Bettye, he loves it)...

Who needs sleep?!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we came home on Wednesday and we are doing good! Here are a few pictures we have taken in the last few days, the first one is of Marley's first bath. She wasn't too crazy about it, but it was pretty cold in there also, so I can't say that I blame her.



The next couple of pictures are ones of her wrapped up like a baby burrito, she loves to be swaddled. She has been a great baby so far!




We came home on Wednesday, Ty's 2nd birthday and were able to celebrate with him and his new swing set. He absolutley loves it! He is doing well and getting use to life with a baby sister. He is also at the stage where he wants to make ALL of his own decisions, so we are "working" with him on that. :)





Besides celebrating birthdays (Josh - 16th, Marley - 18th, Ty - 19th, Josh's mom - 21st, my dad - 23rd, our anniversary - 25th), going to the doctor for regular visits (Ty was average on his height & weight and still off the chart for his big head), getting use to having 2 kids, and getting ready for Christmas...that's about all we have going on. :)

Thanks to everyone for your prayers for my grandfather and please contine to remember him and my grandmother over the next couple of days. Take care and have a Merry and blessed Christmas.

Marley's Here!!!

Yesterday at 10:13 am, we welcomed Marley Sophia Harper to our family. She weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces and is 20 inches long. We were blessed with a great delivery and beautiful baby girl. If you click on the photo album link to the left you can see more pictures.

Quick summary - Josh went with me to my weekly OB visit and my doctor told us to go to the hospital. We were in the process of checking in, I labored hard for about 20 minutes and Marley came on out without anyone noticing. It was so exciting!

We came home today and we are slowly trying to get Ty adapted to her. He is VERY interested...maybe too much. :) Anyway, thanks for your prayers and come see our new addition when you have a chance.

Daddy's Shoulders

Here are just a few pictures of us horsing around waiting on Marley! To right you can see my "not so helpful helper" redistributing the leaves I just raked. And below he is doing what he does best, climbing all over Daddy.











In this one Ty is kissing Marley, he can be real sweet when he wants to be, must get that from his Dad. :)

Last Week

Last week we went to the Grau's house for dinner & here are some of the pictures that Eric took of us.

Mandy is 21 weeks pregnant in this picture & I am 37 weeks. Marley is due on 12/23, but as of 12/10 there are no signs of her coming early. Tonight we are going to eat all you can eat sushi (Mandy & I will be eating cooked rolls) with the Beard's & the Grau's, so maybe Marley will be so squished after that, that she will want to come out. :)

The last picture is of Ty licking the mashed potatoes off my mixer attachments. I used to do that all the time at my grandparents' house. :) Which reminds me to ask for you to keep my family in your prayers since my grandfather is currently in very poor health. Thanks.

Ty's 2nd Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated Ty's 2nd birthday with all of our family & friends, well actually his birthday is not until the 19th but we wanted to make sure that Marley's arrival did not prevent Ty from having a party. :) Anyway we had lots of fun!

We didn't get too many pictures of the party, but you can see the ones we did take by clicking on the photo album to the left. Thanks again for coming, gifts, and making Ty's 2nd birthday so special to us!!
