Relaxing Weekend?

What a busy weekend. Thursday night we had a great dinner out with Catherine & Brooke Fore to celebrate Catherine's new job...congrats Catherine!! Then Friday Josh and I went to Taco Mamacita's after my parents got here. Saturday we did a little shopping with the kids and then Josh and I went and had lunch at the Pickle Barrel before stopping by Doug's house to watch a little football.

Then my mom cooked a delicious dinner and our friend Curt came and stayed with us. Sunday we woke up and went to church and then Andi (my sister in law) and I did the Susan G. Komen 5k to celebrate Andi's upcoming 40th birthday. It was a lot of fun, and thanks Granbob for lunch!

Here is a pic of the Grau family before Anna Claire's infant baptism. It was beautiful and she did great!

Just a couple of cute pics from the weekend.

Here is Ty & Marley's 1st time in the wagon together. They went with Hudson & Lisa to watch to brush truck. It was another busy weekend, but it was great to see everyone. Hope you had a good weekend also. :)

Good Boy & On the Move Marley

I know you all hear me complain about Ty acting up some. Well he has been really good here lately and a pleasure to be around. Here he is playing with his trains.
Marley is still pretty clingy, but she is also doing a lot of new stuff in the mist of her clingyness. Her first tooth has broken through, she is crawling everywhere, she loves to feed herself, and she loves to stand. She is changing so quickly.

We still need to replace our columns and make some window boxes, but here are the cedar shakes in our gable, our latest project.
And this is our new TV stand that Tom Petty (our cabinet maker, and no he is not a musician) made for us. I just finished painting, staining & antiquing it and it is ready for use.

Visit with the Tags & house work

Wednesday I met my friend Tiffany and her daughter Anna Kate for lunch. They are in from Chicago and it was so good to see them. Anna Kate is just about to walk and she is absolutely adorable!!

We started working on the front of our house again (it needs all the help it can get) and here is a before shot and a pic of Ty with a cedar shake.

Funny Prayer Requests

Last night when I put Ty to bed he wanted to pray for Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, Mickey, Donald Duck, Chip and Dale, and Nemo. Too funny!!

We also were in Lenoir City the last couple of days because my dad had a heart test and thankfully everything came back looking good. And while we were there we visited with our family and friends. Thanks to everyone for visiting with us!

Funny Ha Ha

Last year before we had a daughter, Josh was telling the Masters that if we ever had a daughter that there was no way that he was going to let her wear something that had something written on it's back side. So as a joke the Masters got this cute outfit for Marley. I just had to put her in it and take her pic. :)

Disney World

Last Friday at noon we left Chattanooga for Disney World and drove straight there in 7.5 hours. The kids, and the driver (Josh), did great. We stayed our 1st two nights at Embassy Suites and the last 5 nights at Board Walk Villas in Disney. We were wondering how the kids would do and for the most part they did great. Before this trip, Ty was totally afraid of characters, but while we were there he wanted to get his picture made with all of them, over and over again. Marley really didn't do that much besides sleep in the stroller. My parents went with us and we all stayed in a 2 bedroom condo. It was really nice and we could walk to Epcot in less than 10 minutes. And the weather was nice, a little hot, but nice.
Ty loved the Nemo ride, the characters, the shows, the parades, the fireworks, and the list goes on and on. Everyday we would try to do as much as we could (2 days at water parks and 5 full days of Disney) and by the end we were all tired. But it was so much fun to see Ty believing it all!

We decided to make the long drive home yesterday and we got home at 9:45 pm. Poor Ty was so tired that he made the last hour or so even longer by throwing a fit. Oh kids...you've got to love them! :) Anyway we had an absolutely fantastic time and to see all of our pics click on the Disney album.

Wake up my Little Angel

When I was younger, I remember my mom coming in and waking me up one morning and saying, "wake up my little angel." Well this morning I woke Marley up at 10:15 am and I started to think that I was now waking up one of my little angels. And even her pjs say little angel on them. :) Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Camera strike officially over

Marely Mo and her Mohawk. Josh used to always put Ty's hair in a butt cut and he just started putting Marley's in a mohawk. This is what I get for asking for Josh to help out with bath time. :)
Here is Ty with his collection of "big" acorns and yellow colored leaves. He is very proud of them.
I guess Ty & Marley's UT apparrel didn't help the VOLS last night against UCLA.
Well last week I didn't take hardly any pics and now I am going overboard. To see all of them, click on the August Album.
