Introducing Anna Claire

Yesterday at 5:15 pm, Eric & Mandy welcomed Anna Claire Grau into their family. I saw her yesterday and she is beautiful. She has lots of strawberry blonde hair, really long finger nails, & most everyone seemed to think she looked just like Eric. Mandy was a trooper and did not get an epidural and when I saw her she looked great. Anna Claire weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and is 19 3/4 in. long. I think they will be headed home on Thursday. Weekend in Lenoir City

Josh had a duathlon in LC on Sunday, so we decided to make a weekend out of it. We ate dinner with his whole family on Sat. evening (here's a pic of all the cousins) & with my family on Sunday. It was a lot of fun and thanks to everyone for coming, cooking, and playing! To see all the pics click on the LC album to the left.On Sunday we stopped by Josh's parents' house and took a walk, played with "tractors", caught lady bugs, threw rocks in the pond, and chewed on hay.

















Ty was absolutely convinced that Marley was tickling him and he LOVED it! Also he is still wearing diapers but the potty training is going pretty well.

Not too much longer until we meet Anna Claire

Last night we ate dinner with our friends Eric & Mandy Grau. Above is a picture of Mandy & Anna Claire. She is due on April 16th but since she is already 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced, she could go any day now. Eric & Mandy, thanks for having us over for dinner last night and we can't wait to meet your new daughter!!

Girls' Weekend!!

This past weekend Amy, her daughter Macy, and Marley & I went to Dawsonville, GA to go shopping. We went down Friday and ate at the Cheesecake Factory (yummy) and then got up early and shopped ALL day Saturday. It was lots of fun, but we spent way too much money. Thanks Amy & Macy for taking us & to Josh for taking care of Ty & funding the trip! Here's Amy wheeling in our precious cargo.

Fire Trucks & Ambulance...wheow!

On Friday morning Ty, Marley and I went to the Signal Mtn. Fire station for a tour. It was great, they let Ty climb all over the fire trucks, ambulance, and even act like he was sqirting Gavin with the hoses. This was a great outing for him since he has come to love these trucks as they fly by our home with their sirens on heading toward Alexian.

Easter Weekend

Praise God for a risen Saviour! Our family has had a great Easter week and we hope you did also. We went to the zoo with the Beards, we've hunted eggs, cooked our first turkey, had a visit by the Easter bunny (Curt), went to a baby dedication, and much, much more. On Saturday Ty did the Easter egg hunt at Alexian with all of our friends and neighbors. While we were there we (Ty and I) guessed on how many jelly beans were in the container and Ty ended up winning this BIG basket!!
Here is Ty & Marley in there Sunday best. We went to our church before heading to Dallas Bay to see Macy's baby dedication. Thanks to the Beard's for all the Easter goodies and lunch!











Ty and I dyed Easter eggs on Friday and I turned for half a second and he ate one of the dyeing tablets. I took a picture of what it looked like on the front end, but not on the back end, if you get my drift.
Ty has absolutley been cracking us up. Here's a picture of him a few minutes after Josh put him to sleep. He fell asleep reading his "tractor book."

Happy St. Patty's Day

Happy St. Patty's Day everyone! Marley is wearing a shirt that use to be Ty's, in this picture. Not too much is going on at the Harper household. This weekend we did go to the CD Museum with the Beards, but I forgot to take my camera.
This is one of my favorites, it's a picture of Josh dancing with both the kids.
Josh went to get Ty up from a nap the other day and he found him asleep like this in his chair. :)
