Shopping in the ATL & Aquarium

Sat morning Amy picked me up and we went to Atlanta for a Girls' Weekend. We started off at Dawsonville, then to the Embassy Suites Manager Reception, to Northpoint, then the Cheescake Factory and then after breakfast we went to Ikea and shopped around Atlanta Station. It was a GREAT time!! Thanks Amy for letting me tag around and thanks to Josh for watching the kiddos.

My neighbor, Lisa, invited us to go to the aquarium with her family on Friday and we had such a good time. Thanks Lisa!! Ty loved seeing the sharks and alligators!!

Pigeon Forge Getaway

My mom's 60th birthday is not until March, but we decided we would celebrate a little early and surprise her with a weekend away in Pigeon Forge. We made reservations and were a little disappointed when we got there and it was 42 degrees...INSIDE the cabin!! Anyway we ended up finding a better cabin, that had heat, were we could spend the long weekend. It was a lot of fun, and to see all of our pics click on the Cabin album.

At the cabin we were able to play pool, get in the hot tub, watch tv and eat all weekend long!

Ty said his favorite part of the trip was the hot tub!

We took a break from shopping and took the kids to Old MacDonald's play area. Ty loved it! Maybe a little too much, it was a little hard to get him to leave. :)

Josh, Ty & my dad also enjoyed Cades Cove, but I couldn't figure out how to get those pics from Josh's phone.

Mom's Coats

Yesterday I put my coat on Marley and she loved walking around the house in it. So of course Ty wanted to wear another one of my coats, and I took this video of them. We are off to Pigeon Forge!

Harper's in Huntsville

Yesterday morning we left to go to Huntsville, AL with Josh. Here's some pics of what we did. Ty with the astronaut.

This is the nice view from our room. We stayed at an Embassy Suite in downtown Huntsville and it was brand new. The manager's reception and breakfast were delicious!

While Josh was working, the kiddos and I swam and took naps. The kids also got a kid's meal from Ruth's Chris...nice!!


Now we are back at home getting ready to go to a cabin with my parents to celebrate my mom's upcoming 60th birthday!

Don't Mess With My Tu Tu

The Masters' got Marley this cute little tu tu for her birthday...every little girl should have one!! Anyway I took these pics of her while Josh's parents came down yesterday to take Ty out. Yesterday evening Josh, the kids & I went to Taco Mac and then the Toy store to just look around. What a nice evening.

Dr Visit

Today we took Ty & Marley to the dr. for their 3 & 1 yr appointments. Ty weighed 35 lbs (75%) and was 37 1/8 in tall (50%), I don't know the stat but I am sure his head was huge. :) Marley weighed 19 lbs and 7 oz (25%) and was 28 3/4 in tall (50%), her head was average. They both did well and got a clean bill of health.

Marley was really worried about getting the band aid off.

You would think she would perfect her walking skills before walking around with her head covered.

Happy New Year

Here's to good times! Last night the McGowan's came over and brought the new year in with us. The boys threw confetti (big hit), blew horns, wore NYE hats, drank sparking cider, and gave kisses to everyone (and by boys I mean Ty & Gavin). Hope you had fun bringing in the New Year also!!
