Tiffany & Anna Kate

Today we met Tiffany & Anna Kate at Panera. Tiffany is a friend of mine that I used to work with at TVA and she nows lives in Chicago. We met her, her beautiful little girl (that is a month older than Marley)and her sister and her son, for a late breakfast. It was nice to catch up!!

Snow on Signal

Saturday morning we got some snow and of course we had to have a little snow ball fight. After that we went to meet Anna Kate for the first time. She is as pretty as all of the pictures...I hate that I forgot my camera. And on Sunday we went to Mandy's Baby Shower. It was great and she got a lot of good stuff!
This weekend my parents brought my grandmother down here to visit with us. She had a good time, even though she was ready to leave not long after they got here (you know how older people are). And mom cooked some delicious food while they were here.
Ty has been feeling a little under the weather, so we went to BK and got him some french fries and this cool crown. Also he's the one that pulled it over his mouth, not us. :)

BIG Weekend!!

On Saturday night we had a baby shower for the Grau's. Here is a picture of us putting a new twist on an old baby shower game. :) Anyway we really enjoyed celebrating with the Grau's and thanks to everyone that came and helped out. I really liked this picture...I thought it summed up Mandy and Eric's personalitys just right (you will have to ask Mandy about the game).








Saturday after Josh's 1/2 marathon, Curt came over and visited with us and played a lot with Ty. Ty hated to see him leave, so did we.
On Friday, my friend from college, Sonja, and her two children came to visit and spend the night. We went to the Creative Discovery Museum (where Ty and I had World War III and I ended up using his stroller as a straight jacket, see photo album) and also had dinner with Mandy, Richard & Lindsey Suttles.
Weekend before last Josh, Marley & I went to a cabin in Copperhill with some friends from Atlanta. We had a great time just hanging out!
Well that was our weekend. It was a lot of fun, but we had to rest up on Sunday. The kids are doing fine. Ty is doing well although he had two major tantrums last week (sorry to all of you that witnessed them). Both tantrums were the result of not being able to share and he also tried to bite Lula...arrghh. Marley is also doing the typical baby stuff and starting to stretch her sleep out again (she decided she wanted to visit with me more at night a couple of weeks ago).

Marley's 2 Month Dr. Visit

Marley had her 2 month dr. visit today. She weighs 11 lbs. 5 ozs., is 22 inches long, and her head is 15.5. Which is about average. She seems to be doing great, besides getting over a little cold. At the dr.'s office she spit up all of the rotavirus vaccine and then absolutely lost it when she got her shots.
Potty training is going.... Ty usually tells us when he needs to pee pee (he went 3 times in Walmart yesterday, I think diapers aren't only easier for kids but also their moms, ha) but we still have a long ways to go. Do you like Ty's "Thomas" underwear?

We just had a contractor come in and install our crown molding and it looks pretty good. Here is a pic from the LR. Josh has been working on installing baseboards and it looks good also.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day from Ty, our little heartbreaker, or so his shirt says. :) I think the only heart he breaks is mine when he does not share. Ha!

Smile for the Camera

What a happy girl, well at least most of the time. :) She has been sleeping from 9-5am, so I am a happy BIG girl.
The Masters were in town last week while Anthony had a training class, so we were able to visit with them. I think in this picture it looks like Tessa is ready for #3...
Ty and Lula played really well together, here's Lu in the choo choo room...
Gavin came over and spent Thursday morning with us and here is a picture of the boys eating pancakes.



Also Ty has all of the sudden been peeing on the potty. He went 4 times in one day (3 of those times were at the Grau's home). Anyway, let's hope this will be a trend. We are very excited!!

Super Bowl's Over!

Last night we had some friends come over to watch the Super Bowl and it was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone that came over and brought delicious food, and way to go Giants!
Also over the last couple of weeks we went to Nashville with Josh on a minitrip and it was nice to stay somewhere different. We played in the pool, the kids did great, and the food was really good. We also got to see Uncle Truckles (aka Curt Duncan). Marley and I went to see "Atonement" with a friend, it was pretty good. And Josh's friends got him Van Morrison tickets...he is very excited. I think that is about it for us.
