Very Merry Christmas

What a great time we had celebrating the birth of our Saviour! We had Christmas Eve dinner at our house, then went to see the Christmas story at church, came home and made cookies, watched for Santa, and then the next morning we opened gifts and hung out before doing our Christmas celebrations in Lenoir City. What a great time to spend with family! Although, I did really miss my Papaw who passed away this time last year. To see all of our pics click on the Dec album.

Here is Ty opening presents. He was extremely into Santa this year and I think Josh and I had more fun with it than him! Anyway he loved opening all the gifts more than the gifts themselves, and now after 3 weeks of birthday/Christmas gifts he is headed into detox. Wish us luck!

Here Marley is opening her Raggedy Ann doll. Besides our house we went to 3 other "present openings" at other houses and Marley got 4 dolls. It must be a girl thing. Anyway she seems to like them...if you call licking & smacking their face and pulling their hair affection.
.
I hope you and your family had a blessed Christmas also! Now Josh and I are at home without the kids. His parents and my parents are keeping them for a couple of days. So yesterday we painted Ty's room, took down Christmas decor, and Josh grilled me a delicious steak. Today I am going to Natural Body for a haircut, then some shopping, and then top it off with dinner & a movie. On Sunday after church we are taking a nap before going to get the kiddos. Thanks Nana, Papa, Yaay & Dtaa!!

It sounds like you guys really had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you enjoyed your time without the kiddos! We had been toying with the idea of leaving Anna Claire in Columbus for a couple of days. I checked your BLOG while we were there and told Eric "Let's do it!". It sounded like fun and so far so good...:)

It was great to be with you guys on Christmas day! Thanks for the gifts for Beckett and Helen! The Wii was a big hit when we got back home that afternoon. You should hear Beckett trying to get Helen to "chip in" her 10$ from Ty and Marley to help them buy a new game for the Wii! It isn't going to happen, but he certainly has tried! Hope you guys had a great vacation at home! :)
